Bigg Boss 17 Winner: Munawar Faruqui has lifted the trophy of the reality television show 'Bigg Boss 17'. The standup comedian has been one of the strongest and a fan favourite contenders since the first day and proved his game by emerging as a winner. He has taken home a trophy, Rs 50 lakhs and a car. After winning the trophy, Munawar shared a picture with Salman Khan on social media and thanked his fans for their constant support.
Sharing the picture, Munawar wrote in the caption, "Bohot Bohot Shukriya Janta. Aapke pyaar aur support ke liye Aakhir kar Trophy Dongri aa hi gayi. Special thanks to Bade Bhai @beingsalmankhan Sir for all your guidance. Saari #munawarkijanta aur #munawarkewarrior ka dil se shukriya."

Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Arun Mashetty and Mannara Chopra were also in the top five finalists. Arun and Ankita were first evicted from the finale and Mannara became the second runner-up of the show. The final showdown was between Abhishek Kumar and Munawar Faruqui with the latter lifting the trophy.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Munawar talked about winning 'Bigg Boss 17' and his plans after that. He said, "Trophy Dongri jaa rahi hai aur mere fans ne joh muje gift diya hai ye, itna pyaar luta kar toh definitely mei bohot khush hu aur celebration chalta rehna chahiye. Trophy Dongri jaayegi bohot jaldi. Mei yaha se fursat mei thodasa aajau, toh mera bas vahi hai ki mei jaldi se trophy leke Dongri jaau (Trophy is going to Dongri and I am very happy that my fans have loved me and given me this gift. Trophy will go Dongri very soon. Once I get time, I will go to Dongri with the trophy)."
Ankita Lokhande, who exited the competition in 4th position, shocked everyone with her surprise eviction. The unexpected eviction surprised not only her husband Vicky Jain but also the show's host Salman Khan, who said "I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked."
Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Isha Malviya, Sana Khan, Rinku Dhawan, Sunny Arya, Khanzaadi and Soniya Bansal were present at the finale.
