BLACKPINK Jisoo is all set to make her movie debut and BLINKs cannot wait for the film's release. The excitement surrounding the film The Prophet: Omniscient Reader continues to build as its first poster was revealed at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 5, 2024. Featuring a stunning visual of the lead actors, Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop, this highly anticipated project is set for release in 2025.

The poster showcases Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop facing each other on rustic ground, capturing a tense moment in the film. Lee Min-ho, dressed in an all-black ensemble complete with a long coat, wields a sword, while Ahn Hyo-seop looks sharp in a stylish suit. This striking imagery has sparked considerable buzz among fans and film enthusiasts alike.

Director Kim Byung-woo previously hinted at a summer 2025 release, expressing gratitude for the support from fans and excitement about the film's completion. "Thank you so much for supporting the team and actors. We will finish filming soon and see you in the summer of 2025. Please look forward to reading the movie," he tweeted.

What is The Prophet: Omniscient Reader About?

Based on the webtoon Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint by Sing Shong, the film follows the story of Kim Dok Ja, whose life takes an unexpected turn when the world around him transforms into that of the web novel he reads. Lee Min-ho stars as Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist of the fictional web novel, while Ahn Hyo-seop plays Kim Dok Ja. Blackpink's Jisoo takes on the role of Lee Ji Hye, joining a talented cast that includes Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Park Ho-san and Choi Young-joon.
