BLACKPINK Jisoo has officially reassured fans that the group will be making their much-awaited return as a complete quartet in 2025. During her recent appearance on the web entertainment talk show Salon Drip 2 on February 4, the singer revealed that all four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa—are preparing for their next chapter together.

Jisoo addressed the excitement surrounding BLACKPINK’s comeback, confirming, "We're planning to put out an album and also go on tour. We'll be coming back as four this year." This statement put to rest any speculation about the group’s future, assuring BLINKs that they remain united despite their individual endeavours.

While Jisoo did not disclose specific details regarding the album’s concept or release date, her confirmation has ignited immense anticipation among fans worldwide. BLACKPINK’s last full-length album, Born Pink, was released in 2022 and since then, each member has been actively pursuing solo projects. The mention of a tour also hints at the possibility of another global run, following the massive success of their Born Pink World Tour.

With all four members focusing on individual music, fashion, and business ventures over the past year, their reunion for a new project is expected to mark a significant moment in Kpop.

Apart from BLACKPINK’s group plans, Jisoo is also making waves with her solo endeavours. She is set to release her first mini-album Amortage on February 14, featuring four tracks: Earthquake, Your Love, Tears and Hugs & Kisses. This marks a new phase in her music career following the success of her debut solo single ME in 2023.

On the acting front, Jisoo is preparing to make her return with Newtopia, a zombie thriller drama that has already generated buzz among fans. This project will showcase her versatility as an actress, adding to her growing portfolio in the entertainment industry.

In addition to her album and acting commitments, Jisoo will embark on her first-ever solo fan meeting tour, LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION! Her agency, BLISSOO, recently announced that the tour will span multiple cities across Asia, including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong and Hanoi. More details on the tour schedule and ticketing are expected soon.

With Jisoo’s confirmation of BLACKPINK’s comeback and her own solo projects, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the group and its members who are busy with their own solo projects. Jennie drops her solo album Ruby on March 7. Lisa's album ALTER EGO will be released on February 28 along with her first acting project The White Lotus' release on February 16. Rose released her debut album rosie on December 6, 2024, with the global hit track APT. featuring Bruno Mars.
