BLACKPINK's Lisa recently made a special appearance on Lee Young Ji's popular YouTube show, My Alcohol Diary and in true Lisa fashion, she left fans buzzing with her playful possessiveness over fellow bandmate Jisoo. During the episode, a lighthearted moment turned into a viral sensation when Lisa jokingly made it clear that Jisoo belongs to her, especially when the conversation turned to one of Jisoo's favourite topics—Chinese Hot Pots.
For those who may not remember, Jisoo appeared on the same show back in April 2023, shortly after the release of her debut solo album ME. During that appearance, Jisoo revealed her love for Hot Pot, even calling herself a "Hot Pot killer." She shared her habit of visiting Chinese restaurants whenever she's abroad, determined to enjoy a good Hot Pot meal despite the challenges of early closing times. The story resonated with Lee Young Ji, who shares the same fondness for Hot Pot, leading to a fun exchange between the two.
Fast forward to August 2024, when Lisa joined the show. Lee Young Ji playfully mentioned her love for Hot Pot and her previous conversation with Jisoo. It was then that Lisa couldn't resist but interject, saying with a touch of mock seriousness, "She says she loves Hot Pot, right?... I was always with her... I just wanna be clear!" Her possessive tone, mixed with a hint of false arrogance, sent Lee Young Ji into fits of laughter and left BLINKs (BLACKPINK's fans) swooning over the strong bond between Lisa and Jisoo, affectionately known as "Lisoo."

As the episode continued, Lisa shared more about her dynamic with Lee Young Ji, revealing that she was "hurt" during their first meeting. Despite Lee Young Ji's later declaration of love for Lisa, the BLACKPINK rapper recounted how she initially felt dismissed by the host, who seemed more interested in Jisoo and Rosé during that encounter. Lisa humorously mimicked the situation, saying she had been excited to see Lee Young Ji but felt let down when she didn't receive the same enthusiasm in return. The playful banter between Lisa and Lee Young Ji made for an entertaining episode, with the two eventually laughing off the misunderstanding.

In addition to her playful moments on the show, Lisa also took the opportunity to promote her latest solo comeback. On August 15, 2024, Lisa released her new single New Woman featuring Rosalía, along with a sizzling music video that quickly captured the attention of fans worldwide. The track and its accompanying visuals showcase Lisa's signature style and charisma, further cementing her status as a global superstar.
