BLACKPINK’s Rosé recently shared a heartfelt letter with her fans, announcing her future plans as a solo artist. After joining the new agency THE BLACK LABEL, Rosé expressed her excitement about releasing more solo content.
On June 19th, Rosé posted a touching letter on her Instagram. She began by apologizing to her fans for keeping them waiting, explaining that she wanted to be fully prepared before sharing any updates. Rosé revealed that she has spent countless days in the studio, dedicating herself to practising and recording new music.
Rosé's letter was filled with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. She described her recent developments as the first steps of a larger journey. "Hi my loves," she wrote, "Sorry for the long wait. I know some of you have been very eager to hear from me for a while. I personally didn’t want to speak or announce anything before I had everything aligned for my music to be out."
She emphasized the importance of being prepared and delivering music that she absolutely loves. "Starting at the end of last year to all throughout this year, I’ve been in and out of the studio almost every single day, working on new music," Rosé continued.
Rosé shared her excitement about joining THE BLACK LABEL, a renowned agency that houses artists like BIGBANG’s Taeyang, Jeon Somi and Zion.T, as well as actors Park Bo Gum and Lee Jong Won. She described this move as a significant step towards achieving her dreams.
"Ultimately, I am happy to announce that I am officially working with @theblacklabel as my music management who will be managing my curriculum and helping me navigate towards achieving my dreams," she wrote. Rosé also hinted at other exciting announcements in the near future, asking her fans to stay tuned and be excited about her music.
In her letter, Rosé reflected on her journey of growth and independence. She acknowledged that she has come from a place where many things were done for her, and now she is learning to do things on her own. "This has been a year of drawing up a map and navigating to where I want to be and what I want to be doing going forward," she explained.
Rosé concluded her letter with a heartfelt message to her fans, expressing her gratitude for their support and excitement for her music. "I know you have many questions but this is only the first exciting puzzle piece to a much bigger picture. Love u," she wrote.
On June 18th, THE BLACK LABEL officially announced the signing of a management contract with Rosé. The agency welcomed her into its diverse roster of talents, and fans are eagerly awaiting what she will bring to the table as a solo artist.
