Alia Bhatt, the versatile Bollywood actress known for her stellar performances, recently shared insights into her movie selection process and the valuable advice she received from renowned director SS Rajamouli whom she worked with in the hit movie ‘RRR’. Speaking at the Forbes 30/50 Summit alongside Huma Abedin, Alia discussed her approach to choosing roles and the role of luck in her career.

Having delivered numerous successful films, Alia's journey in the film industry has been remarkable. She made her Tollywood debut in 2022 with the film RRR, where she starred opposite Ram Charan. At the summit, Alia revealed that she sought advice from director SS Rajamouli on selecting films. His advice was simple yet profound: "Whatever you choose, just do it with love." Rajamouli emphasized that even if a film may not be critically acclaimed, the audience can connect with the sincerity and passion that the actor brings to the role.

Alia also credited luck for playing a significant role in her career. She admitted that early on, she often selected roles based on what was offered to her. However, she emphasized that her varied roles were not solely due to luck but also a result of her belief in giving her best in every project. She stated, "What you give is what you get," highlighting her commitment to delivering diverse and engaging performances.

In addition to her Bollywood successes, Alia expanded her horizons by venturing into Hollywood with the 2023 film Heart of Stone, alongside Gal Gadot. She also starred in Karan Johar's directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, opposite Ranveer Singh. Alia's upcoming projects include Jigra, a film directed by Vasan Bala, where she will also serve as a producer. She is set to star in Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif, showcasing her versatility across different genres and languages.
