BTS ARMYs, the Kpop group's dedicated fanbase, has united to launch a global hashtag campaign titled 'Min Hee Jin out', opposing the potential return of the former ADOR CEO. Min Hee Jin, who stepped down from her position on August 27, 2024, has filed for reinstatement as ADOR’s CEO, sparking intense backlash from BTS fans worldwide.
On September 17, 2024, several South Korean media outlets, including Newsen and My Daily Korea, reported that ARMY had trended multiple hashtags, including 'Min Hee Jin out', 'ARMYs Want MHJ out' and 'Don’t Use BTS and ARMY', across various countries like the UK, North America, Germany, Poland and Southeast Asia. These hashtags became the centre of the global conversation as fans voiced their opposition to Min Hee Jin’s potential return.

ARMY also issued an official statement on X (formerly Twitter) on September 16, 2024, expressing their firm stance against her reappointment. In the statement, they highlighted their concerns about Min Hee Jin’s past behaviour, accusing her of manipulating Korean media to create a negative image of BTS and their fandom. They also claimed that she had consulted with a shaman, allegedly with harmful intentions towards the boy band during their military service period.

In their statement, BTS fans emphasised that any attempts to use the band or their fandom to promote a personal agenda would not be tolerated. They also expressed frustration that BTS members were currently unable to publicly address the situation due to their circumstances, further strengthening the fans’ resolve. ARMYs concluded by urging Min Hee Jin to stop using BTS and their fandom to further her agenda and called for transparency and respect for the band.
