BTS Jhope, fondly known as Hobi, has officially been discharged from the military after completing his mandatory 18 months of service. Fans, known as ARMY, were thrilled to welcome him back into civilian life. Among the warm wishes, fellow BTS member RM (Kim Namjoon) took to Instagram to congratulate Jhope, expressing his excitement for his friend’s return. RM shared an Instagram story featuring a photo of Jhope’s discharge, captioning it with a heartfelt message: “Congratulations friend.” He also hinted at his own return, adding, “I’ll also be going after you quick,” indicating his eagerness to complete his own military service. BTS RM enlisted in December 2023 and is expected to be discharged in June 2025.

BTS ope responded to RM's story by posting on Instagram, "See you soon, friend," along with a series of photos and videos highlighting his military journey. He captioned his post with the dates of his service, "2023.4.18 ~ 2024.10.17 🇰🇷," marking the end of this chapter of his life.

Jin, the first BTS member to complete his military service earlier this year, welcomed J-Hope at the discharge ceremony with a big bouquet and a warm hug. Fans shared the heartwarming reunion online, though other BTS members—Suga, V, Jimin, RM and Jungkook—couldn't attend. As for RM, his military journey continues, but he and the rest of the BTS members are set to reunite by 2025, as each completes their respective service. The excitement builds for the ARMY, who eagerly await the full return of all seven members to the stage.
