BTS member Jimin is currently serving in the South Korean military. On Friday, Jimin took to Weverse and interacted with fans and talked about his life. ARMYs asked Jimin to respond to their questions and in return for that, they will do tasks like “pushups”, “singing in front of the workplace” and others.

Jimin said, “You guys, we need proof for this. How can I get proof? (Laughs) looking forward to your test paper with 100 on it. You guys are saying huge stuff.. I request proof for this too." Replying to another BTS ARMY, Jimin said, "Huh, goodness, prove this too.”

An ARMY asked the Kpop idol about his thoughts before going to bed. Jimin said, “Lately I've been thinking how long do I grow my hair out once I'm out, would it grow fast? Would I still be able to wear earrings? Or is it closed? Should I change my dressing style? I've never worn perfume, should I try?”

Jimin also wrote, “I've been working out, so dancing (again) wouldn't be that difficult, right? What song should I perform? What kind of album would we be making in the future to start our story? What kind of journey would my 30s be? I want to perform on stage for a long time without getting hurt.”

Another ARMY wrote, “During the time you weren't around, I tried to have other thoughts, but my heart tore apart. Bangtan is my only love.’ Jimin said, "I didn't have any other thoughts during the time I couldn't see you, but you're still my love." Another ARMY said, "I can imagine your hair already. Are you gonna dye it??" To this, Jimin replied, “Shouldn't I have to come and grow it out first?”

BTS’ Jimin is currently serving the military. He entered the South Korean army through the Buddy system. According to this, two people can enlist in the military and serve as each other’s companions. Jimin was recently assigned to the Artillery Fire Direction Center (FDC) within the 5th Infantry Division. Among his other achievements in the military, he was recognised as an outstanding trainee. The Kpop idol went on receiving a commendation award from his Division Commander. Not only this, Jimin was honoured with the title of Special Warrior or Special Grade Soldier after completing his KCTC Training.

Jimin enlisted in the South Korean military on December 12, 2023. He is expected to be discharged on June 11, 2025. Other BTS members, including Jungkook, RM and V, are expected to be discharged around the same time in June 2025. It is pertinent to note that Jin and Jhope have been discharged from the military and the duo are focussed on their solo endeavours until the group’s reunion in June, this year.
