However, few may recall a humorous anecdote from the past that showcases Jimin's playful yet possessive side. Once, Jimin found himself in a jealous situation when Taehyung, also known as V, openly flirted with the former's "girlfriend" - a term used in a joking manner. In a fit of playful mock-anger, Jimin ended up hitting V, leaving fans to imagine the amusing scenario that must have unfolded among the BTS duo.

About the incident: A clip shared by BIGHIT Music, BTS' management label, showcased young Jimin engrossed in a phone conversation, leaving fans to wonder about the identity of the person on the other end. Although Jimin coyly hinted at speaking with his lovely girlfriend, he refrained from divulging any names. As the conversation progressed, Jimin lavished his alleged girlfriend with compliments, only to later introduce his best friend V to her.
In a playful prank, Taehyung flirted with Jimin's "girlfriend" over the phone, prompting Jimin to jokingly hit him. However, V revealed that the call was entirely fake and that Jimin's "girlfriend" was actually the BTS fanbase, ARMY.
When will Jimin and V discharge from military?
BTS members Jimin and V are nearing the end of their military service journey, with an expected discharge date in June 2025. Jimin enlisted on December 12, 2023 and is currently serving in the artillery brigade of the 5th Infantry Division, while V joined the military a day earlier, on December 11, 2023. They will be joined by their fellow group members RM, Jungkook and Suga, who are also anticipated to complete their service around the same time in June 2025.
Once all seven members have fulfilled their military obligations, fans can look forward to the group reuniting and potentially resuming their music activities together. This highly anticipated reunion is expected to take place around 2025, marking a significant milestone for the Kpop sensation and their devoted fan base, ARMY.
