This isn’t Jin's first time performing the extended version of Super Tuna. During BTS’ FESTA Day event on June 13, Jin delighted 1,000 lucky fans with a special performance of the track, later expanding the experience to an additional 2,000 attendees. The singer shared during a BTS episode that the idea for the extended version emerged after a fun Karaoke session during his military service.

Super Tuna initially made waves when Jin gifted the song to ARMYs on his birthday, December 4, 2021. Despite the playful nature of the track, Jin has often joked about being “embarrassed” by it. However, fans quickly fell in love with the catchy fishing-themed song, propelling it to global popularity and ensuring its presence on various charts.

Although Jin initially released the full version of Super Tuna on October 22, 2022, he kept the longer version under wraps until BTS' 11th-anniversary FESTA celebrations. Now, with the official release date seemingly approaching, ARMYs can look forward to enjoying a fresh take on Jin’s fun and whimsical track.

Jin, also known as Kim Seok-jin, has been making waves in the entertainment industry since completing his mandatory military service in June 2024. Apart from gearing up for his music release, he’s been busy hosting his variety show RUN JIN, a spin-off of the fan-favourite RUN BTS. He also recently made headlines with his stylish appearance at Milan Fashion Week, where he was spotted alongside Nicola Coughlan and Dakota Johnson.
