BTS Military Update: BTS Jin enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2022 and was discharged in June 2024. Following the group's hyung was Jhope who enlisted in April 2023 and is just nine days away from his official discharge. On October 7, Jhope shared 'D-10' starting the countdown until his return and shared a photo of his military bag with several BTS-related cute badges and tags. Jin, the ever hilarious member did not miss a chance and playfully taunted Jhope for his 'cheeky post'. And now, jhope has reverted to Jin's remark in a rather cute and funny way. Jhope asked Jin whether he would come to see 'this cheeky friend (Jhope)' or not.

Jin's military discharge ceremony in June was a lively moment for ARMYs worldwide. From the first OT7 photo of the year to the iconic moment when RM played the saxophone, the members reunited after a long time and this proved to be a happy moment for the ARMYs. All members hugged each other and greeted Jin who was out at last and was there with the ARMYs during the group's 11th debut anniversary event.

ARMYs look forward to 2 Seok's (Kim Seokjin aka Jin and Jung Hoseok aka Jhope) reunion on October 17, 2024. Jhope also shared a photo of Chef Lee Kyun (Edward Lee) and wrote, "Hobi: (spoiler warning) Chef Lee Kyun...please do a tofu fine dining pop-up".

Fans are wondering if Hobi's post hints at an 'Eat Jin' session with the two members post Jhope's discharge. For the unversed, Jin made several variety show appearances since his discharge and even did a spin-off of the popular Run Jin show and now ARMYs speculate some cooking content from Jin and Jhope.

Meanwhile, the group's leader RM's documentary Right People, Wrong Place premiered at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival and since RM is serving in the military, his 'team RM' was there at the screening and were applauded by ARMYs who attended the screening. RM shared stills from the screening on his Instagram stories and even shared new photos with his military colleagues. RM has been the most active member on Instagram even during his service and has been a source of joy for ARMys.

With Jhope and Jin's reunion, ARMYs are finding comfort as they await the OT7 reunion in 2025.
