The 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards has recently announced its winners, highlighting the phenomenal achievements of Kpop artists in this year's lineup. SEVENTEEN emerged as a dominant force, securing an impressive total of six awards, including the prestigious Best Asian Artist title. Their Korean mini-album 'FML' not only earned them Album of the Year (Asia) but also secured all three Best 3 Albums (Asia) awards, alongside their Korean mini-album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' and the Japanese compilation album 'ALWAYS YOURS'. Additionally, SEVENTEEN's 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] JAPAN' music video clinched the Music Video of the Year (Asia) award.

In the new artists category, LE SSERAFIM shone brightly, winning the coveted New Artist of the Year (Asia) for 2024. The Best 3 New Artists (Asia) accolades were claimed by LE SSERAFIM, RIIZE, and NewJeans, showcasing promising talent in the Asian music scene.

BTS's Jungkook made waves with his solo debut single 'Seven' (featuring Latto), winning the Song of the Year by Download (Asia) award. NewJeans also made a mark, securing the Song of the Year by Streaming (Asia) for their hit track 'OMG'.

Stray Kids added to the excitement by clinching one of the Best 5 Singles awards with their Japanese single 'Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl -Japanese ver.'
