BTS member Jungkook celebrated his 27th birthday on September 1 and received heartwarming well wishes from his fans worldwide. The singer, who is currently serving in the military, took to the social media platform Weverse and penned a heartfelt note for his fans. He thanked BTS ARMY for their birthday wishes and assured them that he would do well in the military. This is also the first time Jungkook did not go live on Weverse on his birthday.

Jungkook wrote on Weverse, "Armys, thank you for all the birthday wishes. I'm doing well. I'll try to wrap up the rest of my service in uniform well (t/n: military service) well. Armys, I hope you will do well during that time as well!!!"

On the work front, Jungkook earlier released his solo album 'Golden', which has several songs including 'Closer To You', 'Standing Next To You', 'Yes or No', 'Please Don't Change', 'Somebody', 'Shot Glass of Tears', 'Hate You' and 'Too Sad to Dance'. He also released his two solo singles named '3D' and 'Seven'. For 'Seven', he teamed up with the American rapper Latto. He collaborated with Jack Harlow on the song '3D'.

He will soon release his movie 'I Am Still' in theatres. The official description reads, "The release is a celebration of Jungkook, widely acknowledged as the most popular member of BTS, as he develops as a solo artist in the run up to his first solo album, GOLDEN. The film follows the 150-day journey in the lead up to the album's release, highlighting his trailblazing path. the film features live performances from Seoul and his celebrated times square live showcase, alongside new interviews, and behind-the-scenes recordings."

He is currently seen in the travel variety show 'Are You Sure?'. It is a travel series in which Jungkook and Jimin will explore different regions around the world.
