Increasing fans' excitement, BTS RM and MONSTA X‘s Joohoney shared some cute pictures in uniform on their latest Instagram post. Flaunting their smiles for the photos, the duo seemed to be in a fun mode which also showcased their deep bond of friendship. Joohoney took to his Instagram stories and captioned the image as ‘No brain No pain brotha’.

RM and Joohoney are presently fulfilling their compulsory military duties in the South Korean army. The BTS rapper was enrolled in the service on 11th December 2023 in ‘The Republic of Korea Army Military Police Unit’, (also known as Special Duty Team (SDT)). On the other hand, Joohoney joined the 15th Infantry Division on July 24, 2023.

Before debuting in Monsta X, Joohoney used to work with a group called Nu Boyz, which also consisted of Gun, Shownu, and Wonho. It was formed under Starship Entertainment in 2014. The company and Mnet in the same year launched a program named No.Mercy in which Joohoney was selected along with six other participants. Last year in August, he was announced as part of the OST lineup for Behind Your Touch. In 2023, he also released his solo debut Lights, with Freedom as the lead single.

On the other hand, RM aka Kim Namjoon made his debut with BTS in 2013 as a lyricist for their albums and the leader. In the same year, he performed the intro track of BTS’ first extended play (EP) which also marked his first solo after his debut. RM released his much-awaited second album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on 24th May this year. The album has 11 songs which revolve around several aspects of his life. He also released his debut studio album Indigo in 2022. Indigo was honoured double platinum by the Korea Music Content Association in 2023. The album consists of 10 tracks and featured Tablo of Epik High, Paul Blanco, Erykah Badu, Park Ji-yoon, Kim Sa-wol, Mahalia, Youjeen of Cherry Filter, Colde.
