Taha Shah, known for his role as Tajdar Baloch in Netflix's series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, recently opened up about his love life amidst rumours of dating his co-star Pratibha Ranta. In a conversation with News18, Taha revealed that much like his on-screen character, he has always been a 'lover boy' in real life. Taha and Pratibha were recently spotted together on a dinner date in Mumbai, fueling speculation about their relationship. However, Taha clarified his current relationship status and his priorities.

The actor shared, "I wish I could tell you that I’m in love, but right now, my responsibility is to not fall in love but to give back to my mother and make her proud. Right now is the time to focus... the only relationship that I should be having is with my work so that I can take care of my family. But yes, I want to fall in love and have a family in the future. And for that to happen, I’ll have to first stand up on my own two legs."

Reflecting on his romantic nature, Taha compared himself to his Heeramandi character, saying, "I’ve always been a man who would give his soul to the girl he falls for. When I fall in love, I’m a 10. But let me also tell you this that it’s very difficult to find love. Having said that, when love hits me – and it has hit me a few times – I’ve gone all out. I’m an extremist in that sense."

As a self-professed '90s kid, Taha reminisced about the pre-internet days when he would write love letters despite his bad handwriting. "I used to put flower petals into the letter and throw it into the bus for the girl to catch it," he shared, highlighting his old-school romantic gestures.

Despite the dinner outing with Pratibha Ranta, Taha emphasized that his primary focus remains on his career and family. The actor's recent public appearance with Pratibha led to widespread speculation, but he insists that for now, his heart belongs to his work and his mother.

The Heeramandi co-stars, who were recently seen posing for paparazzi outside a Mumbai restaurant, continue to draw attention with their on-screen chemistry. While fans may speculate about their off-screen relationship, Taha's statements make it clear that his current priority is not love but professional and personal responsibilities.
