BTS member RM aka Kim Namjoon has teamed up with American rapper-singer Megan Thee Stallion for her song 'Neva Play'. The song has already become a success and has been ruling the music charts worldwide. RM has achieved a big milestone with the song as 'Neva Play' has debuted on Spotify's Global Top 10, making it the BTS member's first song to achieve this. The song has also garnered over 4.5 million streams on its first day of release.
'Neva Play' was released worldwide on September 6 and achieved big milestones within two days. The song has been receiving praise for its catchy beats and amazing rap by RM and Megan Thee Stallion.
On the work front, RM recently released his album 'Right Place Wrong Person'. It was also named one of the best albums of 2024 by Billboard.
Announcing the album, BigHit Music earlier said in a statement, "Hello, This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are pleased to announce the release of "Right Place, Wrong Person," BTS member RM's second solo album. "Right Place, Wrong Person" is an 11-track album that captures some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn't fit in. RM has also announced the documentary 'Right People, Wrong Place', which will also premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The documentary, directed by Lee Seok-joon, has officially been invited to the festival, which will take place from October 2 to 11, 2024. In the documentary, RM will showcase the journey of creating his album and will explore the rapper's raw and vulnerable side.
