BTS member Suga has been caught up in a controversy after he was involved in a drunk driving accident while riding a scooter. The rapper was reportedly found on the streets by police on August 6 and the patrolling police allegedly smelled alcohol from him. He has been involved in another controversy after South Korean news outlets claimed that Suga acted like a classroom bully and tried to assert his dominance.
According to Koreaboo, a source was quoted as saying, "Suga never participated during the 4-day 5-night class. He was so bad that the instructor even scolded him to which Suga nodded his head and then went back to looking at his phone before sleeping. Suga acted like he was a classroom bully trying to assert his dominance at the beginning of the school year.”

The source added, "Suga’s DUI is a result of his poor work attitude and the military office needs to investigate his work using CCTV. We strongly urge that a thorough investigation be conducted into Suga’s work while serving as a social service worker under the Military Service Act and that any violations found be reported to the authorities and dealt with strictly."
On the work front, Suga released his solo album 'D-Day' under his other name Agust D and also went on a concert tour, which became a huge success.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Suga revealed that the theme of 'D-Day' is liberation. He said, "In the past, I knew what that theme meant, and I figured out my thoughts were already resolved in the process of recording it. There was this K-drama called My Liberation Notes [from 2022] that did really well. I had started working on the album three years ago — and then I noticed that it really matched thematically with the drama. I felt and hoped that people were looking for more stories, more discussion on this topic of liberation.”
He earlier released his documentary 'Suga: Road To D-Day', which gave an insight into how he worked on his album and talked about finding a new dream when you have achieved everything you wanted in your life.
