BTS RM Shares Message For ARMY Ahead Of Military Service

Before embarking on his military training, Namjoon, also known as V, penned a heartfelt letter to the ARMY. In the poignant message, he expressed, "The day has arrived, and there were so many things I wanted to convey. When I try to speak, my words seem to falter. These past 10 years living as part of BTS have brought me immense joy, a happiness that became a part of me. I often said it as if it were a routine, 'Since the end is the beginning!' I am confident that there are new beginnings awaiting us after this chapter."

Namjoon continued, "I bid you farewell for now with the assurance that something wonderful will unfold in our future. See you in the future. My love for you is immeasurable, and I hope this message manages to reach you, if only a little bit. (sic)..."

In 2022, BTS announced a break, and J-Hope was the first to begin his solo career. He's excelling in the military, notably as a platoon leader, a role given to outstanding soldiers. After Jin, he became the second BTS member to fulfill mandatory military service. South Korean law requires men to serve 18-21 months before turning 28, but a two-year deferral was granted, allowing top K-pop stars to delay until 30.
