BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung recently appeared at tvN’s popular show, ‘You Quiz On The Block.’ The new promo of the show featured V talking about several things in his life, and dug deeper into his personal past life. In the process, the singer thanked BTS’ Jungkook and revealed that his upcoming solo debut album ‘Layover’ was shot at Jungkook’s house.
In the clip, V can be seen making a stunning entry wearing an all-white ensemble. As he enters the show, host Yoo Jae Suk comments on his outfit and compliments him exuding royal vibes. He says, “It feels a bit like you're a prince. You're so cool.” The singer quickly replies, “Yes, I thought ARMYs response would be good. And my father really loved it.”

The singer went on to impersonate his father and in a deep voice said, “wow, you did a good job” which left the hosts in splits. The singer continued to talk about 10 years of BTS. Kim Taehyung soon revealed that he recorded ‘Layover’ at Jungkook’s house. Earlier, Jungkook had revealed to his fans during a live session that he was the first to listen to V’s tracks and praised him for the same. The singer said, “I've listened to a few of his songs, they’re good he’s good. I’ve heard it beforehand.”

Meanwhile, Taehyung also shared how he ended up getting selected in BTS after following a friend to audition. He said, “I tried harder than I thought I would. Can you dance? Yes, I can dance. Can you sing too? Yes, I can sing. By chance, can you do anything else? Oh I can play the saxophone.” The singer revealed the conversation and said that he has a saxophone at home.
In the show, V opened up about his grandmother who passed away years ago while the singer was in the Philippines. He said, “I grew up being raised by my grandmother. I wanted to show my grandmother the image of me performing among ARMYs. I wanted to show her that I've grown up this much. But I wasn't able to.”

Reacting to V and Jungkook’s close bond witnessed over the years, ARMY screamed about the duo’s collaboration on X (formerly Twitter). They also extended condolences and support to the singer online, regarding the passing away of his grandmother.
