Renowned choreographer Jani Master, known for his work on popular songs such as Butta Bomma and Aayi Nai from Stree 2, has been accused of sexual assault by a 21-year-old colleague. The complaint was filed with the Raidurgam police station in Hyderabad, alleging multiple incidents of assault during outdoor shoots and at the victim's residence in Narsingi.

According to a report by The Hindu, the alleged assaults took place in cities including Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The woman claims these incidents occurred in 2019 but she felt unable to come forward sooner due to threats from Jani Master and his associates, who allegedly threatened to ruin her career.

The case has been filed under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including rape (section 376), criminal intimidation (section 506), and voluntarily causing hurt (section 323). The investigation has now been transferred to the local police in Narsingi for further action.

Shikha Goel, Director General of the Women Safety Wing (WSW) Telangana, advised that an internal inquiry be conducted under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act, alongside the criminal investigation. The film industry has been urged to handle the situation with sensitivity and according to legal protocols.

This is not the first legal issue faced by Jani Master. Earlier this year, another dancer, Satish, filed a harassment case against him. Jani Master, who has choreographed for major stars like Allu Arjun, Salman Khan and Jr NTR, has yet to respond to these latest allegations.
