Chhaava Advance Booking: The highly-anticipated historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is getting closer to its release on February 14. The film, based on the inspiring life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, will showcase Vicky Kaushal portraying the iconic historical figure in a never-seen-before avatar. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie also stars Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role. Generating excitement, the makers of Chhaava announced that advance booking for the film began on Saturday, and the response has been overwhelming. The period drama has recorded a roaring start at the box office with the advance booking pre-sales.

Chhaava sold 11.4K tickets on BookMyShow on Saturday, February 8. According to reports, the advance booking for the Vicky Kaushal starrer saw a massive jump of 119% on Day 1, with around 25K tickets sold by 12 noon on the second day. On February 9, the makers of the movie sold 12.9K tickets from 8 am to 12 noon, averaging around 3,245 tickets per hour. So far, 10K tickets have sold out. According to Sacnilk's report, the historical epic earned Rs 60.2 lakhs in pre-sales on Sunday by 4:45 PM, earning Rs 1.54 crore (including block seats).
Not only this, Chhaava is trending on BookMyShow, with more than 259.9K users showing their excitement by booking tickets on the online app. Currently, the booking of Chhava is more than Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Film is expected to make net opening of around Rs 50-60 crores.

The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, known for Mimi and Luka Chuppi. The movie is headlined by Vicky Kaushal and also stars Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Pradeep Rawat in key roles. Movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the film's release in cinemas on February 14.
