Chhaava OTT Release Update: Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna starrer historical action drama movie released in theatres on February 14. The film has been roaring at the box office and collected Rs 477.65 crore after 20 days of its release. As the movie is marching towards the Rs 500 crore mark, there is an exciting update about its OTT release. Viewers, who are excited about watching the movie from the comfort zone of their home, check the tentative release date of Chhaava here.
The streaming partner of Vicky Kaushal’s movie is Netflix. As per a fan page, named OTT Streaming Update, stated on X that the movie will be released n the digital platform in April. It shared that Chhaava will start streaming on Netflix from April 11, 2025. However, the makers of the film or the OTT platform have not confirmed the OTT release date.

About Chhaava
The movie is about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who fearlessly fights against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb to protect the Maratha swaraj. The story showcases how after the death of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji has taken the responsibility to guard his empire. The movie shows his sharp tactics to fight against Aurangzeb. But when his brother-in-law gave his secret location to the Mughal samrajya, he was caught by the emperor. After capturing him, Aurangzeb tortured him till death. The historical action drama movie stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Ashutosh Rana as Hambir Rao and Divya Dutta as Soyrabai. It has been directed by Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan.
