In the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut emerged as significant winners. While the former secured a victory in Hajipur with 53.3% of the votes, amounting to 6,15,718 votes, representing the Lok Janshakti Party, Kangana making her political debut, won from the Mandi constituency as a BJP candidate with 5,37,022 votes. But do you know that the two have worked together in a film, years ago? Yes, Chirag and Kangana have a shared history in the entertainment industry.
Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut's shared experience in this film adds an interesting backstory to their respective careers, now intersecting in the political arena. They both starred in a Bollywood film Miley Naa Miley Hum together, which unfortunately did not perform well at the box office.
In 2011, Chirag and Kangana acted in Tanveer Khan directorial, marking the debut of Chirag, son of politician Ram Vilas Paswan. The film also features Neeru Bajwa, and Sagarika Ghatge in prominent roles. Despite its notable cast, the film went largely unnoticed and was deemed a box office disaster. Following this setback, Chirag Paswan transitioned to politics and was elected to the Jamui seat in Bihar during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

According to the plot, Chirag, hailing from a wealthy family, aids his father, Siddharth Mehra, in managing their property. His parents, Siddharth and Shalini, are divorced, largely due to Shalini's aversion to tennis, which Chirag is passionate about. Both parents want Chirag to marry, with Shalini favoring Kamiah from London and Siddharth choosing Manjeet Ahluwalia from Bhatinda. However, Chirag reveals he is in love with a model named Anishka (Kangana Ranaut).
Unhappy with his choice, Chirag's parents try to pressure Anishka to leave him, but their efforts are unsuccessful. Eventually, they realize their mistake and show their support by attending Chirag's tennis match, ultimately giving their blessings to Chirag and Anishka.
