Choi Tae Joon recently shared his excitement about his upcoming K-drama Iron Family at a press conference held in Seoul, where he spoke warmly about the support he receives from his wife, Park Shin Hye. The event took place ahead of the show's premiere on September 28, 2024, and included the cast and crew of the drama.
When asked about Park Shin Hye’s encouragement as both actors navigate their returns to television, Choi expressed his gratitude. "I've never answered this question on the spot, so I'm nervous, but we're cheering each other on," he said, highlighting the mutual support between the couple.
Choi also noted that despite his busy filming schedule for Iron Family, Park Shin Hye continues to stand by him, cheering him on as he embarks on this new project. The director of Iron Family, Sung Joon Hae, chimed in, wishing for both Choi and Park’s dramas to achieve great success, further emphasizing the bond between the couple.
#ChoiTaeJoon calling #ParkShinHye as "chagi/chagiya (my babe = sayangku 🫠)" on his latest interview instead of saying "my wife" 😭😭😭 it's a formal interview tho, but he prefers to say that 😭

he shyly said, "I've never talked abt this kind of thing in a place like this. Rather than having seperate conversations (with #ParkShinHye), we are supporting each other & telling e/o to work hard" 😭❤️ pic.twitter.com/iz4rBihjvs
Since tying the knot in January 2022, Choi Tae Joon and Park Shin Hye welcomed their first child, a son, in May of the same year. Following this life change, Choi made cameo appearances in several dramas, including Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Island. However, Iron Family marks his significant return to the small screen since his role in Tha Man’s Voice in 2021.
In Iron Family, Choi Tae Joon plays the character Cha Tae Woong, a part-timer at a laundry shop. He will be joined by a talented cast, including Kim Jung Hyun, Geum Sae Rok and Yang Hye Ji. Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye has also made a comeback this year with her drama Doctor Slump, alongside Park Hyung Sik. Her latest project, The Judge from Hell, premiered on September 21, airing every Friday and Saturday on SBS and Disney+.
