Dream Girl (Zee5/Netflix)

Dream Girl 2 comedy-drama directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. A spiritual sequel to the 2019 film 'Dream Girl,' it stars Ayushmann Khurrana alongside a notable ensemble cast, including Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa. The film revolves around a man who cross-dresses and disguises himself as a woman, leading to a series of chaotic and humourous situations. Panchayat (Amazon Prime Video)

It stars Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who finds himself reluctantly thrust into the role of a Panchayat secretary in the quaint village of Phulera with Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey. An engaging comedy-drama series that follows the life of Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who, due to a lack of better job opportunities, ends up working as a Panchayat secretary in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh. The series explores his struggles to adapt to rural life, the humourous challenges he faces, and his interactions with the quirky villagers, including the village Pradhan (head) Brij Bhushan Dubey, his wife Manju Devi, and his colleague Vikas.

Gullak (SonyLiv)

Crafted by Shreyansh Pandey, the series is produced under The Viral Fever (TVF) banner. The storyline revolves around the Mishra family, comprising Santosh and Shanti Mishra, along with their sons Anand "Annu" Mishra and Aman Mishra. The series stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar in prominent roles, with Sunita Rajwar portraying their neighbour.

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare (Amazon Prime Video)

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare features Zakir Khan, Alka Amin, and Zakir Hussain in leading roles. The narrative centers around Ronny, a young man with modest aspirations. His desire is for a comfortable life where he can embellish his image with convenient falsehoods. Ronny creates a persona where he claims his uncle is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), gaining admiration from his followers who believe his every word to be gospel truth.

Series crafted by Saurabh Khanna, directed by Raghav Subbu, and produced by Arunabh Kumar for The Viral Fever is set in Kota, Rajasthan, renowned for its coaching centers, the series delves into the life of 16-year-old Vaibhav (Mayur More) as he relocates from Itarsi to Kota. It offers a glimpse into the lives of students in the city, highlighting Vaibhav's endeavors to crack the Joint Entrance Examination and secure admission into an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Madgaon Express (Amazon Prime Video)

Comedy film which marks Kunal Khemu's directorial debut, is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. Starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam. The film follows three friends - Dhanush (Dodo), Pratik (Pinku), and Ayush - whose Goa trip plans face setbacks over the years. When Pinku and Ayush visit Mumbai in 2015 and decide to stay at Dodo's 'penthouse,' he suggests revisiting their Goa plan, leading to unexpected encounters aboard the Madgaon Express with dangerous criminals like Kanchan Kombdi and Mendoza Bhai.

Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan (Zee5)

Comedy film written and directed by Aatish Kapadia, with Vineet Jain and Jamnadas Majethia serving as producers. Starring Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, and Jamnadas Majethia, the film is the fifth installment in the Khichdi franchise and serves as a direct sequel to the 2010 film "Khichdi: The Movie."
