Dark Nuns is a sequel to the popular 2015 film The Priests, which starred Kang Dong Won. In the latest installment, Song Hye Kyo plays Sister Junia, marking her much-anticipated return to the big screen after her success in the Netflix K-drama "The Glory." Jeon Yeo Been, known for her role in Vincenzo, joins her as Sister Michaela, creating an exciting dynamic that has captivated fans.

The story centers around Hee Joon, a young boy possessed by a malevolent spirit. As Hee Joon fights to reclaim his body, Sister Junia takes on the task of saving him. She is joined by Sister Michaela, and together they embark on a dangerous mission to help the tormented child.

As the story unfolds, two clashing approaches to saving Hee Joon emerge. Father Paolo, portrayed by Lee Jin Wook, is a psychiatrist who believes medical treatment is the key to healing. On the other hand, Father Andrea, who performs exorcisms in a desperate attempt to banish the evil spirit, takes a more spiritual route. Meanwhile, Moon Woo Jin plays Hee Joon, the boy at the heart of the haunting possession.
