Operation Sindoor: After a series of cryptic blank tweets, Amitabh Bachchan finally broke his silence on the recent Pahalgam attack and the escalating tension between India and Pakistan. He praised the Indian Army's strike Operation Sindoor on terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Big B narrated a horrific event, quoting his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poetry.
On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan penned a long post after his blank tweet for about 20 days. Saluting the army and targeting the heinous act of terrorists, he wrote in Hindi, which read, "While celebrating the holidays, that monster dragged the innocent couple outside, stripped the husband naked, and after fulfilling his duty, started shooting him. Even after the wife fell on her knees and requested him not to kill her husband, that cowardly monster shot her husband very ruthlessly, making her a widow!! When the wife said, 'Kill me too!' The monster said, 'No! You go and tell '...'."
Remembering lines from his father's poem, the actor added, "On the mental state of the daughter, I remembered a line from a poem by Pujya Babuji. Suppose that daughter went to '….' and said, Hai chita ki raakh kar mein, maangti sindoor duniya (There are ashes of the funeral pyre, the world is asking for vermilion.)"

Lauding the government and the Indian defence forces for responding with a precision attack, destroying nine terror sites on May 7 following the Pahalgam terror attack, Amitabh added, "De diya sindoor!!! OPERATION SINDOOR!!! Jai Hind Jai Hind ki Sena. Tu na thamega kabhi; tu na mudega kabhi; tu na jhukega kabhi Kar shapath, kar shapath, kar shapath! Agni path! Agni path! Agni path!!!"
About Operation Sindoor: On May 7, India began a strategic military operation to destroy nine terrorist bases throughout Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, following the brutal, horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists and left several injured. Pakistan retaliated by attacking many sites in India with missiles, drones, and artillery attacks. They violated the ceasefire agreement.
