Operation Sindoor: Aamir Khan spoke candidly about the Pahalgam attack at a media event amid the escalating hostilities between India and Pakistan. According to the Bollywood celebrity, India needs guarantees against future attacks of this nature.

Aamir Khan praised the Indian government as well. He spoke about the devastating Pahalgam incident on Tuesday at an ABP event. A video of his emotional speech from the occasion is going viral on the internet."We need justice and assurance that it (terrorist attacks) won’t happen again. We believe in our government, they’ll take actions against the anti-social elements who committed this and bring them to justice, " he said.

India began Operation Sindoor, a strategic military offensive to destroy nine terrorist bases throughout Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, following the terrible terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists. Pakistan retaliated by attacking many sites in India with a flurry of missile, drone, and artillery attacks. Even the ceasefire was broken by them.

Bollywood actors like Ananya Panday, Shraddha Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Shreyas Talpade, Sobhita Dhulipala, Bhumi Pednekar, Diana Penty, Abhay Verma, Mouni Roy, and others also prayed for the civilians' and soldiers' safety in addition to praising Operation Sindoor. They have conveyed their appreciation to the Indian army and defense line for safeguarding the nation and its citizens amid the ongoing tension between the two nations.  

Sitaare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan also declared that, due to the current circumstances, the trailer release for his next movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, would be delayed. Originally, it was set for May 8.
