Shahid Kapoor is all set to enthrall the audience with his badass police officer role in the much-awaited action thriller Deva. After impressing everyone with the intriguing teaser, the makers are preparing to launch the official trailer of the movie. In an exciting update, the Central Board of Film Certification has given the green signal for Deva's trailer.
The trailer of Shahid Kapoor-starrer Deva has received a ‘UA 16+’ certification, with a duration of 2 minutes and 22 seconds, according to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) website. The trailer was approved on January 8. The official trailer launch date is still awaited.

On January 5, the makers released the action-drama's teaser. From jaw-dropping car chases to explosive action sequences, Shahid's fearless cop avatar has left fans eagerly awaiting the movie's release. The teaser showcases Shahid's power-packed action performance, complemented by his energetic dance moves. He also delivers a swag-filled moment during an action sequence, standing in front of a poster of Megastar Amitabh Bachchan from his iconic movie Deewaar. The teaser ends with a message that reads, “Trailer Soon.”
Shahid shared the teaser on his Instagram handle with the caption, "D day is here. Machana chalu." Netizens were left extremely impressed with Shahid’s new avatar and acting.
Shahid Kapoor's Upcoming Movies
Shahid will next headline Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled film alongside Triptii Dimri. The film has already begun shooting and is set for release on December 5, 2025. The project is backed by by Sajid Nadiadwala. Apart from this, reports suggest that Shahid has joined hands with director Atlee for an upcoming movie and he has several new projects lined up for his fans.
