Saumya Tandon recently stole all the limelight with her small yet impactful role in the Aditya Dhar directed movie Dhurandhar. On Day 26, the movie recorded a gross collection of Rs 1100 crores. As the movie continues to flourish at the box office, Saumya recently answered the most asked question about her plan of returning to the iconic comedy show Bhabiji Ghar Hain 2.0 after the show witnessed a major comeback of original Angoori Bhabhi, Shilpa Shinde. Saumya further shed light on her role in the Dhurandhar’s sequel, which is expected to release in March 2026.
Saumya Tandon, who played the role of Anita Narayan Mishra, famously known as "Gori Mem" in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, recently revealed whether she will join season 2 of the show. In an interview with Zoom, she said, "No, I am not coming back to Bhabiji at all. I have moved on to another project. At the moment, I am doing something else. So that is totally out of question."
Talking about her role in the second part of Dhurandhar, Saumya shared, "Dhurandhar Part 2 doesn't have much of me because my husband has died. So you will see me, but you are not going to have a lot of me. I had already shared that it's a small part, but it has given a lot of love and made a lot of impact, which I had not expected. I can't tell you so much, but I would say I don't really have a major part in the film."

Dhurandhar’s Plot, Cast And Collection
Ranveer Singh starrer is set in Pakistan's Lyari region and follows a mysterious Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates Karachi's criminal underworld. The movie features a wide cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and others.

Saumya Tandon’s Career
Saumya Tandon jump-started her modeling career after she became the Femina cover girl first runner-up in 2006. She made her acting debut with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan's 2007 movie Jab We Met.
Saumya also hosted major reality shows like Dance India Dance, Zor Ka Jhatka and more. She gained major popularity as 'gori mem' in the hit comedy sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Recently, she appeared as Rehman Dakait's wife in the blockbuster movie Dhurandhar.
