Director Vetrimaaran's Assistant Director, Actor Saran Raj Dies In A Fatal Car Accident

JE Entertainment Desk: Director Vetrimaaran's assistant director and supporting actor Saran Raj died in a car accident. According to several media reports, the actor breathed his last after he met with a fatal car accident in KK Nagar. Raj met with an accident while he was travelling on Arcot Road in KK Nagar at 11.30 PM. This reportedly happened after a supporting actor named Palaniappan crashed his car into Saran Raj's bike while intoxicated.

According to the reports, the late actor suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Police received information from local residents and filed a FIR. The fatal remains of Saran Raj have been submitted for an autopsy.

It was later leart in a police investigation that Tamil actor Palaniappan was driving the car in an intoxicated condition which lead to the accident. He had been detained by the police.
