Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya Reveal Why They Don’t Want To Participate In Bigg Boss; Actress Calls It ‘Too Negative’

Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya recently attended as guests for Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa’s podcast. During the interaction, the popular television actress kept her views about Bigg Boss. In the interview, they revealed that they do not want to participate in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. While stating that he does not want to participate in the show, Vivek said “No, not Bigg Boss.” When asked if they watch the show, the couple said that they don’t watch it. Divyanka further called Bigg Boss ‘negative’. 

Divyanka said, “In fact, there was some talk about him (Vivek) possibly getting a call for it. So I said, ‘Let’s start watching the show,’ but the kind of fights that were going on in Bigg Boss… we felt—it was too negative. I feel that negativity, and I just want to run away from it.” 

While opening up about the fights that happen in the Bigg Boss, Vivek said, “I can fight, I’m a Jaat. But putting yourself in such a situation… why? Just for money? There are so many other ways to earn money.” Hearing this, Divyanka further added, “He’s a great mix. On one hand, he’s classy and sophisticated, studied in the UK, and on the other hand, there’s a Jaat in him!” 

For the unversed, Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi met on the set of the popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and soon they started dating. They got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in July 2016. 

On the work front, Divyanka Tripathi has gained popularity by doing shows such as Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Adrishyam The Invisible Heroes, The Magic Of Shiri, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, Nach Baliye and Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story to name a few. 

She was last seen in The Magic of Shiri. The show was released in November 2024 on JioHotstar. The film also features Namit Das, Nishank Verma, Neelu Kohli and Jaaved Jaaferi in key roles.
