Do Patti Trailer Out: The trailer for the highly anticipated Netflix film Do Patti has officially dropped, revealing a gripping tale that intertwines mystery, drama and thrilling suspense. This marks Kriti Sanon's debut as a producer and features her in a double role as twin sisters, showcasing her range as an actress in this complex thriller.

In the trailer, we see Kajol stepping into the shoes of a police inspector for the first time. She interrogates Shaheer Sheikh’s character at a police station, delving into the events surrounding a mysterious accident. The plot unfolds against the backdrop of a turbulent romance between Shaheer's character, Dhruv Sood and one of the twins, Saumya (played by Kriti Sanon). However, the arrival of Saumya's estranged twin sister, Shailee, complicates their lives, leading to a bitter rivalry reminiscent of the legendary brothers from the Mahabharata.

As the story progresses, one of the twins accuses Dhruv of attempted murder, sparking an intense investigation led by Kajol's character, Vidya Jyothi. The trailer teases a narrative filled with intrigue, deception and the quest for truth amidst a web of lies.

Directed by debutant Shashanka Chaturvedi and penned by the talented Kanika Dhillon, Do Patti is set in the fictional town of Devipur, Uttarakhand. The film promises to unravel the deep-seated secrets of the twin sisters while exploring themes of love, betrayal, and revenge. The picturesque yet eerie hills serve as the perfect backdrop for this captivating story, where nothing is as it seems.

In her role, Kriti Sanon expressed her excitement about the film, stating, “Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it’s my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on-screen.” She emphasized the film's poignant message, highlighting the depth of the characters and the layers within the story.

Kajol, reflecting on her character, shared, “This being the first time I play a police officer, I can't wait for my fans to see me in this new avatar. Bringing this powerful story to life has been rewarding.”

Kanika Dhillon, who is both the writer and producer of the film, expressed her delight in collaborating with two powerhouse performers. She stated, “Do Patti is very close to my heart, and I am glad that this powerful tale of sibling rivalry can be enjoyed by audiences across the world thanks to Netflix.”

Do Patti is set to premiere on Netflix on October 25, 2024.
