Emergency OTT Release: Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher starrer historical biographical drama movie hit the silver screens on January 17 and received positive responses from the audience. The film focuses on India’s emergency period, which happened under the leadership of the first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It is one of the anticipated movies of the year which was earlier scheduled to release on OTT on March 17. But there is a big surprise for the audience as the film has been preponed. When And Where To Watch Emergency Movie Online?

Kangana Ranaut’s movie Emergency made its digital debut on OTT giant Netflix on the occasion of Holi, which is on March 14. The OTT platform confirmed the news on its social media handles with a caption “The gripping story of power and peril. Watch Emergency, now on Netflix. #EmergencyOnNetflix.” 

Kangana also shared the news on Instagram and wrote “A nation, a decision, an emergency. Emergency ab Netflix par aa gayi hai, zaroor dekhiye. @ netflix_in @kanganaranaut @anupampkher #SatishKaushik.” 

About Emergency

The movie is about the situation that took place in India when Emergency was imposed in the country from 25 June 1975 to 21 March 1977. It will show the role and leadership under the first female Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla, Scott Alexander Young and Adhir Bhat in key roles. It has been directed by Kangana Ranaut and produced by Kangana herself alongside Renu Pitti. According to reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 60 crore. Emergency had a net collection of Rs 18.35 crore after 24 days of release. The worldwide collection of the film is Rs 23.75 crore.
