Devara: Part 1, the action drama directed by Koratala Siva stars Jr NTR in the lead role, with Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain in supporting roles. Set to premiere on September 27, 2024, Devara: Part 1 has been generating considerable excitement, especially with its latest poster release, which has intensified anticipation among fans.

On social media, the makers of Devara: Part 1 unveiled a new poster showcasing Jr NTR in two striking looks. One close-up displays him with slightly longer hair, while the other shows him with a shorter haircut. The actor's enigmatic smile and intense expression hint at the intriguing and suspenseful elements that audiences can expect from the film. The poster read 'Faces of Fear' with a caption, "THE FACES OF FEAR. In a month, his arrival will stir up the world with an unmissable big screen experience. Let’s experience his Majestic Madness in theaters on September 27th."

Following the release of the new poster, fans of the RRR star flooded the comments section with their reactions. Several speculated that Jr NTR might be playing a dual role in the movie.

Meanwhile, immediately after completing the film's shooting schedule, Jr NTR's team released a statement revealing that the actor had sustained a wrist injury while working out at the gym. The update confirmed that although he has recovered, his arm is currently in a cast to immobilise it.

About Devara

The action thriller is set in coastal regions, where the male protagonist is depicted as both a savior to the local inhabitants and a formidable force against wrongdoers. The film is expected to feature emotionally intense moments throughout its historical timeline.

Initially announced in April 2021 under the working title NTR30, marking Jr. NTR’s 30th film as a lead actor, the project was officially named Devara in May 2023. By mid-2024, it was revealed that the film would be released in two parts. Principal photography began in April 2023, with filming locations in Hyderabad and Goa. The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
