Gadar 2 Box Office Collection: Sunny Deol Starrer Soon To Cross Rs 300 Cr Mark; Mints This Much On Day 6

‘Gadar 2’ box office collection Day 6: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel led ‘Gadar 2’ is churning big numbers at the box office. Witnessing a massive Rs 55 Crore haul on Independence Day, the film saw a major drop but still minted profitable numbers. ‘Gadar 2’ is set to enter the Rs 300 Crore club, as the film has already crossed the Rs 250 Crore mark in India.

According to a report in Sacnilk.com, ‘Gadar 2’ collected Rs 34.50 Crore on Day 6. Now, the total domestic collection of the film stands at Rs 263.48 Crore. The film saw an impressive opening and earned a whopping Rs 40 Crore on Friday, followed by Rs 51 Crore on Saturday and Sunday. The film managed to pass the litmus Monday test and earned Rs 38.7 Crore and thus collected Rs 55 Crore on Independence Day.

Sunny Deol felt overwhelmed upon the film’s massive success. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, he said, “I was quite stressed before the release of the movie. When the movie was released, I cried and laughed the entire night. My father was around and he saw me. I told him, 'I have not had alcohol. Main khush aa main ki kara (I am happy, what can I do)'."

‘Gadar 2’ is helmed by Anil Sharma and is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.’ ‘Gadar 2’ also features Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, and Simrat Kaur in pivotal roles.
