Utkarsh Sharma, known for playing Sunny Deol’s son in the iconic films Gadar and Gadar 2, recently marked Down Syndrome Awareness Month by spreading a message of inclusivity and support. The actor shared photos on social media, capturing his interactions with children with Down syndrome, bringing attention to their talents and strengths.

In his post, Utkarsh highlighted the significance of raising awareness about the challenges faced by the Down syndrome community while celebrating their unique abilities. He expressed gratitude towards the Mansha Foundation for giving him the opportunity to connect with these kids and their families, who he considers “the real heroes” for their dedication and efforts.

Reflecting on his experience, Utkarsh shared, “October is Down Syndrome Month! It was a privilege to host these kids at my office. Thank you, Mansha Foundation, for giving me this opportunity to help raise awareness about the challenges they face daily and also celebrate their unique talents.”

He also emphasized the need for a more inclusive society, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and called for better healthcare, educational, and professional opportunities for people with Down syndrome. “These kids are artists, singers, models, entrepreneurs, and even sportsmen. If we make sure they are treated well, they will surely make our nation proud through their incredible talents,” Utkarsh added. The actor’s heartfelt message serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion and understanding in building an inclusive environment for everyone.
