Renowned Telugu film producer Dil Raju, celebrated for delivering blockbuster hits, has found himself under scrutiny as Income Tax (IT) officials conducted raids at multiple properties linked to him in Hyderabad. The raids, which began early Tuesday morning, targeted his residence in Jubilee Hills’ Ujas Villas, offices and other properties associated with the producer.
According to reports, the IT department suspects possible tax evasion and is currently verifying financial documents and transactions. In addition to Dil Raju’s properties, searches were conducted at the residences of his family members, including his brother Sirish and daughter Hanshitha Reddy.
The raids extended across eight different locations, involving multiple teams of IT officials. While no official statement has been released by Dil Raju, authorities are reportedly examining unaccounted income and financial discrepancies. As of now, there is no confirmation on whether incriminating documents have been discovered.

Dil Raju, whose real name is Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, is a prominent figure in the South Indian film industry. He is the producer behind projects like Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Additionally, he distributed the Balakrishna-starrer Daaku Maharaaj in select regions.
Beyond his work as a producer, Dil Raju serves as the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC). He is also the owner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, a production house known for its contribution to Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema. Over the years, he has earned accolades such as two National Film Awards and the Nagi Reddy–Chakrapani National Award in 2013.
