Sivarapalli On OTT: Prime Video is set to delight Telugu audiences with its upcoming original comedy-drama series Sivarapalli, premiering exclusively on January 24. This highly anticipated series, produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), is the Telugu adaptation of the much-loved Hindi series Panchayat.
Directed by Bhaskhar Maurya and penned by Shanmukha Prashanth, Sivarapalli takes viewers on a heartwarming journey through rural India. The series spans eight episodes and features a talented ensemble cast, including Rag Mayur, Muralidhar Goud, Rupa Lakshmi, Uday Gurrala, Sunny Palle and Pavani Karanam in pivotal roles.
The story follows Shyam, an engineering graduate from the city, who unexpectedly becomes the panchayat secretary of the remote village of Sivarapalli. Initially reluctant, Shyam finds himself in a series of comedic situations as he tries to adjust to the unique quirks of rural life. The narrative captures the charm, chaos, and warmth of village life, blending humour with heartfelt moments.
