Govinda And Sunita Ahuja Headed For Divorce After 37 Years Of Marital Bliss? Actor's Manager Says...

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been in the news ever since reports of their divorce first arose. They have two kids together and have been married for 38 years. Nevertheless, a number of rumours assert that Sunita and Govinda have been living apart for quite some time now and that their marriage has been going through a difficult period.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's managers have officially spoken out about the divorce rumours, which first came to light on Tuesday morning. As per a news report in The Mint, Sunita Ahuja's manager, Sadia Solkar told the said newspaper, "This is not true."

Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, on the other hand, urged everyone to wait for a day or two. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he said, "Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai. No, they are not involved as of now (while referring to the legal proceedings). I urge everyone to wait for a day or two."

Govinda And Sunita Ahuja's Divorce

Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are reportedly nearing the end of their divorce settlement, according to a viral post by ZoomTV on Instagram. The separation may have been influenced by the superstar's reported affair with a Marathi actress in her 30s, claims the post. 

Govinda's fans and followers defended the actor in the viral Instagram post. While many called it 'fake news' others stated that 'divorce is trending' these days. A user wrote, "Aasaar nazar aa rahe thei .. the way Sunita was giving interview after interview ... The gun shot on govinda was also between their own feud ... .. not a fake news." Another user wrote, "I don't think Govinda will do such drama."

Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja has appeared on several podcasts and in interviews but none of those with the superstar himself.  According to numerous news sources, the couple is seriously at odds because of their frequent arguments and disparate lifestyle choices.

A now deleted post on Govinda and Sunita's divorce has also been circulating on popular social networking site, Reddit.

A user commented, saying, "Sunita hinted this in many interviews recently that he is having an affair. He lives in bangla opposite to their flats as their schedules dont match. Man it would have been so exhausting to live with a man, forgiving his affairs , taking care of his mother and whole extended family only to leave you in old age."

Another user wrote, "This actually seems true bcoz his wife kept taking jabs at Govinda for his philandering ways in so many interviews , also why is she all over these podcasts and interviews anyway?Is this her way of getting back at Govinda?"

In a recent interview, Sunita Ahujarevealed that they are living in two separate houses. She lives with their kids in a flat while Govinda lives in a bungalow. Speaking to Pinkvilla Hindi Rush, she said, "We have two houses, we have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat whereas he gets late after his meetings. He loves talking so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Whereas me, my son and my daughter live together, but we hardly talk because I feel if you end up wasting your energy by talking too much."
