Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have made headlines for their relationship and the news of their divorce has taken the internet by storm. Reports have emerged online, stating that the couple, after 37 years of marriage, is heading for divorce. While neither of them has addressed these speculations yet, their silence has only fueled further discussions online, making old interviews go viral. Meanwhile, the actor's nephew and comedian Krushna Abhishek has come forward and dismissed these rumours, stating that such a separation is not possible.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's Divorce Rumours
Krushna Abhishek, who reconciled with his uncle Govinda last year after a rift of almost 7 years, reacted to the rumours about the actor and his wife Sunita. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, he said, "This is not possible. They won't divorce."
Prior to him, his sister Arti Singh refuted these reports and called them baseless gossip. She defended the couple by shedding light on their strong bond.
Amidst these reports, a source quoted by ETimes said, "Sunita apparently sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no movement since then."
Amid all these speculations, Sunita Ahuja's manager, Sadia Solkar, denied the claims and told The Mint, "This is not true." On the matter, Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, also shared a statement with Hindustan Times, suggesting that Sunita's recent statements in interviews have led to the current situation. Referring to the legal proceedings, Sinha clarified that, as of now, they are not involved and urged everyone to wait for a day or two for further developments.

Speculation about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's relationship gained attention last month when Sunita made some revelations about their marriage and also mentioned that they live in seprate house. During a conversation with Pinkvilla Hindi Rush, she shared, "We have two houses; we have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat, whereas he gets late after his meetings. He loves talking, so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Whereas me, my son, and my daughter live together, but we hardly talk because I feel if you end up wasting your energy by talking too much."
In the same interview, Sunita revealed that she doesn't feel as secure in the marriage now as she did earlier.
