Actor Hina Khan, currently battling stage 3 breast cancer, has been using her social media platforms to update her fans about her journey. Despite the challenges, Hina is embracing her scars with love, viewing them as symbols of her progress towards healing.
Last month, Hina revealed her diagnosis on Instagram. Since then, she has been sharing her experiences and maintaining a positive outlook. On a recent Saturday, Hina posted selfies after a workout, wearing a pink top, paired with Kishore Kumar's uplifting song Ruk Jaana Nahin.
In her Instagram post, Hina penned an empowering message: “What do you see in this Picture? The Scars on my body or the Hope in my Eyes? The scars are mine, I embrace them with love because they’re the first sign of the Progress I deserve. The Hope in my Eyes is the reflection of my Soul, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am manifesting my healing. And I am praying for yours too. #SacrredNotScared #DaddysStrongGirl.”
The post has garnered immense support from her industry peers and fans. Mona Singh commented, “U are a fighter Hina … this too shall pass,” while Juhi Parmar expressed her love. Other celebrities like Guneet Monga, Arjun Bijlani, Asees Kaur and Aashka Goradia showed their support with heart emojis.
Hina Khan is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She announced her diagnosis, stating that she has begun treatment and is fully committed to overcoming the disease. In her heartfelt message, she assured her fans that she remains strong and determined to beat cancer.
“Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina wrote on Instagram.

She also requested privacy and respect during this difficult time and expressed gratitude for the love and blessings she has received. “I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and will be completely healthy. Please send your prayers, blessings, and love,” she added.
