Home Town OTT Release: The Telugu slice-of-life series Home Town, directed by Srikanth Reddy Palle and starring Rajeev Kanakala and Jhansi, tells the story of an aspiring filmmaker who returns to his roots, back to where it all began. The series explores dreams, memories, and the goodbyes that come with growing up. The makers announced that the upcoming series will stream on the OTT platform soon and shared the release date.

As announced, Hometown will be available for streaming on Aha from April 4. The streaming giant shared the news on their Instagram handle, writing, "A journey of nostalgia, love, and ambition! Hometown is a story that feels like your own. #Hometown Streaming from April 4, only on Aha!"<

About Home Town: Cast and Plot

Directed by Srikanth, the series features Prajwal, Sairam, and Anirudh. The cinematography is handled by Dev, with art direction by Gandhi. The series is produced by Rajashekhar Medaram under MNOP and Amogha Arts, while music is composed by Suresh Bobbili. The series revolves around Srikanth, an aspiring filmmaker who takes a trip down memory lane to revisit his past and the town that shaped him. He cherishes his childhood moments, including his first love, friendships, family bonds, heartbreaks, and more. Hometown unfolds many dreams, family support, and the hardest goodbyes.
Rajeev Kanakala plays Srikanth’s father and plays a key role in his son's journey. This is the first time Rajeev Kanakala is taking on the lead role in a web series. The makers promise to bring a mix of nostalgia and emotion, with each episode highlighting the ups and downs of growing up. They believe the emotional core of the series will resonate deeply with audiences.
