Sonam Kapoor celebrated Mother's Day at her London home and shared a glimpse of it on her Instagram Stories on Sunday. The actor, who recently returned to the UK with her husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, where Mother's Day is celebrated on March 19, shared a video of her room decorated with silver foil balloons and photos of the books that Anand gifted her on the occasion. Additionally, she also shared pictures of her gifts on social media.
Sonam Kapoor shared a video of her bedroom, which was decorated by her husband Anand Ahuja. The decorations included heart-shaped balloons near the bed and silver foil balloons with the word 'mama' written on them placed on the bed, along with other gifts for Sonam. In the caption, Sonam referred to Anand as the "Best husband in the world."
Sonam also shared a video of herself unwrapping one of her gifts, which was a limited edition of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. She expressed her excitement by saying "amazing" while showing the book in the video.
In the next Instagram Story, Sonam mentioned that books are the best gift for her. She also expressed her love for Anand Ahuja and said it was her first Mother's Day, thanking him for making it special. She wrote, "Anand Ahuja has outdone himself. Love you my baby."
