The buzz surrounding Dhurandhar 3 is gaining momentum and this time it’s not just speculation. The buzz began with filmmaker Aditya Dhar, whose earlier remarks before the release of Dhurandhar 2 are now being viewed in a new light following the film’s strong opening. Before the sequel hit theatres, Aditya had urged audiences to stay till the very end, writing, "Don’t leave your seats until the credits have stopped rolling."

What initially seemed like a simple request is now being seen as a possible hint at a post-credit tease or continuation. This wouldn’t be new for the franchise, as the first film also dropped subtle clues about what lies ahead. The director had also reflected on how audiences connected deeply with the story, even discovering layers he hadn’t intended—an idea now fueling speculation about a larger cinematic universe.

At the same time, speculation around Dhurandhar 3 has intensified, with a viral Reddit post claiming the third installment might be titled 'Mayhem'. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the name has grabbed attention as it aligns with the franchise’s growing scale—from Dhurandhar to The Revenge—hinting at an even bigger and more chaotic chapter ahead.

Interestingly, not all developments suggest that Dhurandhar 3 will go on floors anytime soon. According to updates shared by the X handle Always Bollywood, which cited a source close to B62 Studios, filmmaker Aditya Dhar is in no hurry to fast-track the third installment.

Despite the growing buzz and audience anticipation following the success of Dhurandhar 2, the director reportedly wants to take his time before moving ahead, suggesting a more measured and carefully planned approach rather than rushing into production.

The tweet states: "#JioStudios had reportedly asked #AdityaDhar to drop a hint about #Dhurandhar3 in the end credits of #Dhurandhar2 and set up the third part as a cinematic universe. However, a close source from B62 Studios reveals that Aditya politely declined the idea. He reportedly doesn’t want to rush into a sequel for at least the next 4 years, believing that releasing another part too soon may look like a cheap tactic just to mint money."
