Jana Nayagan starring Thalapathy Vijay continues to be the most-talked-about film for many reasons. Besides being surrounded by the censorship controversy, the film's casting, especially the special cameo appearances, has created quite a buzz among viewers. The excitement aroundThalapathy Vijay's final film has intensified further with director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirming his appearance in Jana Nayagan, marking his second on-screen collaboration with the actor. Jana Nayagan: Lokesh Kanagaraj Confirms Cameo

Lokesh Kanagaraj appeared at a press conference for the first time following the release of his Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie. During the media interaction, the director opened up about making a cameo appearance in actor-politician Vijay's last film, Jana Nayagan. He said, "H Vinoth anna and Vijay anna called me up for it, and I did a cameo appearance, but that is all I can say for now."

Lokesh Kanagaraj And Thalapathy Vijay's Collaborations

Lokesh has directed Vijay in two major Tamil action thriller films that achieved significant commercial success, Master and Leo. Interestingly, Lokesh had also made a brief cameo in Master, released in 2022. Now, his appearance in Jana Nayagan will mark their second collaboration in terms of acting.

After doing cameos, Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to make his full-fledged acting debut in Arun Matheshwaran's upcoming Tamil action-romance film DC. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy in pivotal roles.

Other Expected Cameos In Jana Nayagan

According to several reports, acclaimed directors Atlee and Nelson Dilipkumar might also make a special appearance in Jana Nayagan. Looking at previous collaborations with Thalapathy Vijay, Atlee directed him in films like Bigil, Theri and Mersal. Nelson Dilipkumar has worked with Vijay in Beast (2022).

More About Jana Nayagan

Jana Nayagan was originally scheduled for release on January 9, but was postponed due to an ongoing legal dispute related to its censor certificate. Directed by H Vinoth, the Tamil movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju, among others, in key roles. This project marks Vijay's last movie before his complete transition to politics.
