Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11: In a surprising turn of events, reports in ETimes reveal that popular social media influencer and dancer Dhanashree Verma has decided not to participate in the ongoing 11th season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Known for her viral dance videos, Dhanashree, who is also a dentist, gained widespread recognition for her captivating performances on various social media platforms.
The show, which commenced in November, is set to introduce wildcard contestants, and among the contenders is actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma, who is married to renowned cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. While she won't be gracing the Jhalak stage this season, reports in ETimes reveal that social media sensation Awez Darbar and playback singer Nikhita Gandhi have been roped in to compete for the coveted wildcard spot.
Manisha Rani, who gained fame on Bigg Boss OTT 2, is another confirmed participant vying for the wildcard entry. Rehearsals have already begun for these potential contestants, promising an exciting addition to the show.

Dhanashree Verma, reflecting on her recent collaboration with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Anthem titled "Dil Jashn Bole," expressed her enthusiasm. In an exclusive chat with BT in October, she shared, "Ever since I stepped into the field of dance and my videos went viral, I was labelled as the female version of Ranveer Singh. I always wanted to dance with him, and the ICC World Cup anthem made it possible."
She recounted the energetic experience of dancing with Ranveer Singh, stating, "We do team up with a lot of actors for authentic dance-based songs, but that energy factor you only see in this man. Of course, this was not a duet, and it was for the ICC WC anthem, but I remember when we were doing that hook step together, he said, 'Arre Dhana, bohot energy hai!'"

As the competition heats up on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, the current roster of contestants includes Tanishaa Mukerji, Adrija Sinha, Anjali Anand, Karuna Pandey, Sangeeta Phogat, Shiv Thakare, Shoaib Ibrahim, Vivek Dahiya, and playback singer and actor Sreerama Chandra.
