Jr Mehmood Battles Stage 4 Liver And Lung Cancer: The seasoned actor, Junior Mehmood, is currently battling Stage 4 liver and lung cancer, facing a challenging health situation. Recently, Jeetendra and Sachin Pilgaonkar took time to visit him, responding to his deteriorating condition. Junior Mehmood had previously shared his desire to meet these veteran actors, particularly due to their longstanding association. 

Having collaborated on numerous projects with Jeetendra and sharing a deep childhood friendship with Sachin, Junior Mehmood's wish to connect with these respected figures highlights the emotional bond and support within the entertainment industry during challenging times.

During the visit, Sachin Pilgaonkar extended his support by asking the ailing star if there was any assistance he could provide. However, according to a report in TOI, Salam Kazi mentioned that Junior Mehmood's children declined the offer of help, instead requesting prayers for their father. For the unversed, the duo of Junior Mehmood and Sachin Pilgaonkar had gained popularity as child artists and collaborated on various films, including notable works like 'Bachpan,' and 'Brahmachari'.

Jeetendra Meets Ailing Friend Mehmood Jr

In the meantime, the legendary superstar Jeetendra, accompanied by comedian Johnny Lever, paid a visit to Junior Mehmood yesterday. Junior Mehmood and Jeetendra shared the screen in films such as 'Suhaag Raat,' 'Caravan,' and several others.

Former journalist and filmmaker Khalid Mahmood took to his X account and shared that Jr Mehmood wishes to meet Jeetendra and Sachin Pilgaonkar. He wrote, “Junior Mehmood, yesteryear’s adorable child star, is in hospital with 4th stage cancer. He has expressed his wish to meet Jeetendra whom he often co-starred with n childhood friend Sachin Pilgaonkar to visit him,please Jeetendra saab, Sachinji grant him what cld be his last wish (sic).”
