Hrithik Roshan celebrated 25 years of his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai by recollecting memories of preparing for the movie. To mark the milestone, he shared a special post on his social media, reflecting on the notes he scribbled during the shoot of the Rakesh Roshan directorial, which also starred Ameesha Patel.

Revisiting his journey as an actor, Hrithik looked back at his debut and admitted that even after 25 years, he still feels nervous before starting a new film. In the notes he shared, he had written affirmations, acting advice, and self-analysis. One note read, “One life. That’s it—only one life, one chance. Don’t f** it up, don’t give a s** about small failures… Just keep going, don’t break.” Another point stated, “Do it the way you want it! Cause that’s the best way! One day, just believe!”
The notes also revealed his thoughts on overcoming challenges, including his speech. One line read, “Speech—talk without being conscious at all of stuttering… It doesn’t happen anymore! It’s all in the mind!” Another note said, “Trust your instinct, they won’t let you down,” and he also mentioned physical preparation, writing, “Need a lot of biceps for broader upper chest also.”
Hrithik described these notes as proof of his resilience. Sharing them, he wrote, “My notes from 27 years ago. Prepping as an ACTOR for my first movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. I remember how nervous I was. Still am when starting a movie. I’d be embarrassed sharing these, but after 25 years in the industry, I guess I can handle it. Then to now, what’s changed? I see these pages and realize—absolutely nothing. Good thing? Bad thing? It’s just how it is. Only process remains.

Expressing gratitude, Hrithik added, “So much to be thankful for. So much to be grateful for. So much left to do. It’s the 25th anniversary of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. And the ONLY thing I want to celebrate are these scribbles in my rough book. The first page says ‘one day’ at the bottom. No such day happened, it never came. Or maybe it did, but I missed it because I was in prep. #25yearsofkahonaapyaarhai.”
About Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the makers re-released Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in theaters on January 10. In the film, Hrithik played a double role, and it also marked the debut of Ameesha Patel. Alongside its engaging storyline, the movie’s songs became massive hits.
